Our journey
Field Valley Canine, LLC officially opened at the end of 2023. Starting with teaching basic obedience, we grew eager to offer more to the area. Thats when our service dog program was born. Our first service dog in-training was Simba the golden retriever. We quickly fell in love with how rewarding this training was, and couldn’t stop there. Including ourselves, many dog owners work a full-time job. Sometimes a simple dog walk isnt enough to tire high drive/ energy dogs. We designed our field trips to cater to the need of your dog and not to what every dog gets with basic dog walking. We continue to build our programs and stay up-to date in our methods.

Meet the owner
Madison Effinger is the Owner and Lead Trainer at Field Valley Canine, LLC. She started her journey working at the Humane Animal Welfare Society in Waukesha, Wi. Here she learned feeding, vaccination administration, medical care, as well as basic dog behavior. After being in a shelter environment for a few years, Madison wanted to do more for dogs in the community. In 2022, she received her Master Dog Trainer Certification from the School for Dog Trainers in North Carolina. There she studied different training methods while working alongside pet dogs, service dogs, and police K-9’s. After graduation, Madison decided that working for a boarding facility was not in her best interest for progressing and furthering her career. In 2023, Field Valley Canine, LLC was created. In her free time, she enjoys continuing her education and donating to service dog projects.
