Pet Dog Training

Programs

We offer individualized pet dog training programs tailored to meet the needs of you and your dog. Our services include on-leash obedience, off-leash obedience, and behavior modification, all designed to build reliability, clarity, and confidence in everyday situations.

Training sessions may take place in-home and/or in public, depending on your dog’s goals and current readiness. An initial evaluation helps determine the most effective starting point and whether in-public training is appropriate immediately or better introduced over time.

On-Leash

This program is designed for dogs looking to strengthen existing obedience skills or learn new ones. Training focuses on building reliable, real-world behaviors while also addressing additional challenges such as prey drive, counter surfing, or jumping on people.

Dogs will work through the six core obedience skills: sit, down, come, place, heel, and stay. Training is tailored to the individual needs of both the dog and handler. The program includes six private training sessions, each lasting 45 minutes to one hour, allowing for consistency, progress, and long-term success.

Off-Leash

This program is designed for dogs ready to advance their training beyond the leash and build reliable off-leash obedience. Training focuses on strengthening engagement, responsiveness, and impulse control in real-world environments while maintaining clear communication between dog and handler.

Dogs will work on off-leash versions of core obedience skills: recall, heel, place, and stay. Training is customized to the individual dog’s temperament, drive, and goals. This program includes six private training sessions, each lasting 45 minutes to one hour, and requires a solid foundation of on-leash obedience prior to enrollment.

Behavior MODification

This program is designed for dogs struggling with unwanted or challenging behaviors and focuses on creating lasting change through structured, individualized training. Behavior modification training addresses the underlying causes of behaviors such as reactivity, anxiety, impulse control issues, and other maladaptive responses.

Training plans are customized to the dog’s behavior, environment, and learning style, with an emphasis on clear communication, consistency, and handler education. Sessions may take place in-home and/or in public, depending on the dog’s needs and progress. Modification Program length is determined during eval. Each session lasts 45 minutes to one hour, and begins with an evaluation to ensure the most effective approach for long-term success.
