Service Dog Training

What is a Service Dog?

A service dog is a dog specially trained to assist someone with a disability.

Service dogs perform a minimum of 2 tasks directly related to a person’s disability and have special training in public setting to ensure they can work anywhere needed.

Tasks can include item retrieval, search & rescue (SAR), alerts, and deep pressure therapy. These are only a few of the ways dogs can assist.
